Unfortunately, this program is no longer offered by Brattleboro Rotary Club.

This program is targeted toward newly licensed drivers (16 and 17 year olds) from Vermont or New Hampshire. The four-hour program covers a variety of topics and features in-car, hands-on exercises including: straight-line braking with ABS brakes, steering and maneuvering in emergency situations, and avoiding tailgating collisions.

The program is presented by experienced driving instructors who will also discuss related topics such as the effects of distractions (alcohol, drugs and electronic devices) when driving, as well as the basics of safe vehicle operation.

Enrollment is limited.

The cost of the half-day program is $300. However, due to our generous supporters, the cost to participate is partially subsidized with a $125 discount.

Enrollment is available online at www.skidschool.us. To view a video of the program, visit the Vermont Youth Safety Council website.
