President Mark informed the club that Ted had some minor surgery on his mouth this week and is doing well but can’t talk yet...so text him.

Mike Wagner recently moved to Chesterfield after living in Arizona for 30 years. Had a career in technology sales and then spent 5 fives teaching English globally

ROTARY MINUTE
Bill Daley had today’s Rotary minute but was unable to attend the meeting. The club voted to fine him in absentia for no Rotary Minute.

Announcements
Stan announced that the next groundworks meal is Wednesday Sept 9th. The theme will be BBQ chicken. Let Stan know if you can help out.
George Weir announced that the International Committee will have a brief meeting immediately after the Rotary meeting next week.
Greg Worden announced that the Welcome Center fund raiser has raised $1,202 so far and is expected to come in at nearly $1,300. Thank you to all who helped!
Pres Mark announced that he sent out an email to all Rotarians with a poll asking for future activities input. Please respond.
Mark also announced that we need a new chairperson for this year’s ski jump fund raiser. Please let him know if you can take on this role.
The Sunrise Rotary club meets on Wednesday mornings at Ramuntos. They would love to have visitors from our club join them for breakfast!
Happy Dollars and Brags and Fines
Stan bragged for a successful groundworks meal last Wednesday and thanked all the participants. He also bragged for the unknown delivery truck driver that showed up with boxes of donuts that he donated to the fundraiser.
Stephen Stearns bragged for the club which is like a family to him. He announced that, by necessity of life circumstances, he will be resigning from the club but will visit and speak/perform when he can.
George Weir, Cheri Ann and Greg all bragged for the success of the welcome center fundraiser and all the amazing work everyone put into it.
Rob bragged for Greg Worden, Stephen Stearns, and his recent vacation. He also bragged for the upcoming disc golf tournament and will be looking for sponsor again soon.
Mark bragged for ADG Josh’s daughter who is now driving and looking for a car. If you know of someone looking to sell a car, let him know. He also bragged for Cheri Ann’s chili, Greg’s work coordinating the welcome center event, and the unknown truck driver that brought all the donuts.
Kurt bragged for the Brattleboro Retreat upcoming 5K run for suicide awareness. It is scheduled for Saturday 9/12 at 9am.
