JOKE OF THE WEEK - For our joke or song of the week:
Cindy Jerome jumped in to pinch hit with a the following: The boy asks the girl “Are you from Tennessee because you are the only Ten I see.” Betsy Gentile attempted to save the day with a sprinkling of blonde (male) jokes and George Weir promptly proposed to President Mark that the club consider forming a committee to preview the joke of the week to insure a level of humor quality and George volunteered to chair the new committee. President Mark advised the Board would take it under consideration.

George Weir announced the Board voted to donate $1000 through Shelter Box to assist in the Nepal relief efforts.
Mike Mandracchia announced the Brattleboro on Wheels could use a few more volunteers.
Rob Spzila gave an update on the upcoming Disc Golf tournament coming up on Oct 3-4. He thanked the sponsors who have already committed and let the club know there is still an opportunity to sponsor.

Mara Williams bragged for 3 wonderful weeks in Isle LaMotte and for her godmother who recently passed away.
Jenifer Ambler bragged for her daughter and the Monarch caterpillars who spent the weekend at Jenifer’s house.
Cindy bragged for her son Jesse for his efforts as an assistant soccer coach and for his Wednesday visits with his appreciative mom.
Tom Franks bragged for his upcoming retirement.
