By Frank L: We are thankful for our Rotary fellowship together, with the had of friendly understanding extended toward other businesses and professions in our own community, to other clubs throughout our land, and to Rotary Clubs beyond the seas! We rejoice in the challenge of life, in these exciting times, and in the spirit of service above self, we pray that our personal lives may be channels for the flow of loving goodwill, in all our relationships every day. Amen

Happy Dollars - Brags - Fines
Stan reported that the shelter meal on Wednesday was a big success. He thanked all the cooks. The next meal will be January 8, so please let Stan know if you can help.
Mark bragged for Bill Vermouth. Mara reminded everyone to bring in their bottles as the tally is done at the end of the calendar year. Cindy bragged for her son Jesse who is doing quite well with his substitute teaching and coaching. Rhonda for Chris Hart who picked her up from her home so she could get her loaner car.

 No Rotary meeting on the 26th
Jim Haine said the Rotary website is not up to date on the assignments.  Jim sends out reminders ahead of time.  Hopefully the website will be updated soon.  You can email Jim if you have any questions about when your assignment is.
 
 
 
 

REMINDERS

  • Please bring your bottles and cans to the Putney Road redemption center to benefit APPN.  Pure Water for the World is no longer operating in the USA; it continues in Honduras as APPN.
    Maria Inestroza, the PWW country director for Honduras is continuing the work in that country under the name APPM, acronym for Agua Pura para El Mundo, or Pure Water for the World in Spanish Pure Water for the World. Please remember to inform the staff that the bottles and cans should be credited to the club.

Speaker: 
Annual gift wrapping for the senior gifts. By 1:45 all 260 gifts were done and off to their respective facilities. Ana sent out a big thank you to all.
