President Greg Worden welcomed all to the November 19th meeting of the Brattleboro Rotary Club held at the American Legion in Brattleboro. Phil Steckler offered a meaningful invocation about the meaning of thanksgiving. This was followed by the pledge of allegiance.
As a luncheon of chicken pasta, salad, beans and house-made chocolate blondies for dessert was being digested, the meeting continued.

For our Rotary joke, Tom French told a story about the first time he went out to legally drink in a bar 68 years ago. It was a few minutes before midnight. When the waitress told him that he was too young, he said, “By the time you serve it, I’ll be legal!”
