WELCOME

President Greg Worden welcomed welcomed all to the June 30th Changeover Dinner of the Brattleboro Rotary Club held at the Brattleboro Country Club. Gina Patterson offered a meaningful invocation.   This was followed by the pledge of allegiance. 
 

As a dinner of hamburgers, hotdogs, cole slaw, potato salad and brownies for dessert was being digested, the meeting continued.

Guests: Significant others of Dart Everett, Carla Lineback, Stephen Stearns, Roger Miller, Phil Steckler, and George Weir.

ROTARY MINUTE

 

For our Rotary Minute, President Greg recounted the past year which included the first Brattleboro on Wheels, a good crop of Student Rotarians, donations to Every Rotarian Every Year and Pure Water for the World, Christmas Tree Sale, Golf Tournament, Scholarships and Solar Panels for Pine Ridge.

At our July 7th meeting, Dave Neumeister will tell a joke or lead us in song, while Ana Saavedra delivers a Rotary Minute.

PROGRAM:

President Jeff Hagstrom introduced his team: President elect George Weir, Secretary Ana Saavedra, Treasurer Rhonda Calhoun, Club Service Director Dave Twombly, Youth Director Beth Baldwin, Community Service Director Stan Nowakowski, International Director Carla Lineback, Membership Chair Ted Kramer. He announced that the club will embrace this year’s theme “Rotary Serving Humanity.”  Membership is key and prospective members will be given a free lunch.

  •  Bottles and cans can be brought to Putney Road redemption center to benefit Pure Water for the World. Please see Mara Williams.
