WELCOME

President George Weir welcomed all to the June 28^th changeover dinner of the Brattleboro Rotary Club held at the Brattleboro Country Club. Liz Harrison offered the following meaningful invocation:

Thank you Lord for this nourishing food and the hands that prepared it.

Thank you for the gift of our health and energy to do unto others,
as we would have them do unto us.

Thank you for the local, statewide, nationwide and worldwide work
of Rotary for the benefit of others in need.

Thank you for the blessings of our families and great friends
and time together that in turn make us all very wealthy.

Amen.

This was followed by the pledge of allegiance.

As a dinner of steak, bbq chicken, potatoes, salad, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert was being digested, the meeting continued. <ED NOTE: A cocktail hour preceded the dinner with spring rolls and assorted cheeses. >
